Permit Reviewing
The Engineering Department reviews permits for single family homes, multi-family homes, commercial properties, driveways, sidewalks etc. to insure compliance with City Code of Ordinances, Broward County Codes, Florida Department of Transportation, South Florida Water Management District, State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection and ADA requirements.
Utility Permits
The department reviews and approves permits from utility companies such as Florida Power and Light and BellSouth to work in City's right-of-way and supervises restoration work of utility companies.
