Overview

The Department of Utilities and Engineering provides multiple services to the Hallandale Beach community. 
 

The Utilities Division coordinates water plant activities for water production, treatment and distribution, to ensure the needs of the City for potable water and fire protection are met continuously. This division also ensures the sanitary collection and disposal of wastewater throughout the City.

Many of the department's activities are performed under the supervision of the Engineering Division which offers technical and field support for special projects and Capital Improvement Projects (CIP).
